GIVING VS. TITHING

At LOP Community, we GIVE rather than TITHE. Tithing is a biblical concept that Jesus challenged. People were giving exactly 10% of their income in conjunction with the "rules" of the Old Testament. Jesus however, as always, is more concerned with the heart than the rules. Because of this, we ask that all who encounter and receive from LOP, ask God what to give. This can be 10% of your income, it can be more or it can be less. You are not bound to a specific number. What matters is that you give generously, sacrificially, deliberately and cheerfully.

LOP Community runs entirely on the giving of those who choose to support it. Without faithful givers, we will no longer have a way to pour out in all of the ways that LOP does. We challenge you to be "in this together" with us, putting your faith in action.
